This Coded Magnet^TM device features 1-1/2” neodymium N42-grade magnets programmed with CMR’s RepelSnap^TM multi-level code housed in sturdy polycarbonate oval fixtures with brushed aluminum handles. A long-throw repel force is encountered as the disks are moved together, but before they make contact they encounter a short-throw (and stronger) attract force which pulls the magnet pair together and binds them. The attraction force is decorrelated with a simple twist.
