Licensing
Correlated magnetics technology is being licensed under a field-of-use licensing model on a market-by-market and region-by-region basis. For a given market (e.g., toys, applicances, furniture, prosthetics, etc.), licensees may receive an exclusive license, a non-exclusive license or a Head Start License. Licensed rights may be for a given country, for multiple countries, or can be worldwide. Generally, licensed rights include one or more of the rights to make, use, sell, and sublicense the correlated magnetic technology in a given field-of-use in a given region.
Correlated Magnetics Research provides its licensees two options regarding Future Intellectual Property. A Group Option provides rights to all Future Intellectual Property invented by or on behalf of Correlated Magnetics Research or any Group Option licensee. In other words, all licensees selecting the Group Option share future correlated magnetics technology improvements. A Private Option does not provide rights to such Future Intellectual Property.
Potential licensees should call(888) 820-9990 or email licensing@correlatedmagnetics.com.
Definitions:
Head Start License: a short term exclusive license that transitions to a non-exclusive license after a period of time.
Future Intellectual Property: patent rights for correlated magnetics-based inventions conceived after a license agreement becomes effective.
